New Year Greetings from Hendler Flores Law

Thu 01 Feb, 2024 Firm News

Dear friends, clients, and colleagues,

Happy New Year! We hope this newsletter finds you in good health and high spirits as we close the first month of 2024.

Our team at Hendler Flores Law is stepping into 2024 with optimism and resolve that we will continue to live up to the high expectations of our clients and friends and continue to strengthen our relationships with our professional colleagues. Strong, positive relationships have been a hallmark of our success for the past 30 years.

Despite a stream of unsettling news this past year, from climate disasters to global conflicts to threats to our democracy, all of us who have the privilege to live in America should confront these realities first with reflection and then with action. Speak up for your beliefs, learn about the issues that are important to you, and try not to be misled by the misinformation that swirls all around us. And fulfill the solemn responsibility of United States citizenship by resolving to vote; then pressing everyone else you know to do so as well.

Challenging injustice is the driving purpose behind our law practice, and a purpose shared by everyone at Hendler Flores Law. Every time an individual speaks out against injustice, it creates a ripple effect of hope that, coming together from a million different points, can create a current that sweeps down the mightiest walls of oppression.(1) This sense of purpose strengthens us and has a profound positive effect on our communities and our well being.

Time and again, our society has demonstrated remarkable resilience, compassion for the human condition, and the grit and determination to defeat threats to our justice system. That track record fuels my optimism that we will all face the challenges that lie ahead in 2024 with courage and belief. Thank you for being a part of our community.

Onward and upward.

Warm regards,

Scott and Lulu
