Having grown up admiring my mother, a graduate of UT Law and a dedicated public servant in state government, I considered being a lawyer from a very young age. In fact, I followed in my mother’s footsteps early in my legal career and served in state government. However, given my fascination with science and technology, I felt compelled to consider careers in those fields—even becoming a licensed patent attorney—before recognizing that personal injury law is where I belong.

Since 2016, I have focused my law practice on helping injured clients seek justice.  I have helped numerous accident victims and their families find closure through the civil justice system.  Advocating for injured people who have been unfairly harmed lifts me up and gives me pride in my work like nothing else I have done. I strive to be a force of good in the world.  I joined Hendler Flores to further that mission.

Away from work, I focus my community service endeavors primarily on working with children. As a young adult, I dedicated time to volunteering at community youth centers and tutoring. Later I served six years as a Sunday School teacher at Tarrytown United Methodist Church, the church I grew up attending.  For the last several years, I have been a lead volunteer for Shady Hollow Cub Scout Pack 82, serving formally as Committee Secretary, Assistant Cubmaster, Den Leader, New Member Coordinator, and in numerous other less formal capacities.

In my free time, I prioritize time spent with my family. Weekends often include trying to coax my children into performing STEM experiments with me or shopping around Austin with my mother and sister.
